Santa w his Mailbag collecting Letters is carved from basswood. He is painted with acrylics, soft colours, and then slightly weathered to give him a warm primitive feel.Three brass nails made to look old serve as buttons on his coat. His mailbag is sewn from muslin and then painted to give it a canvas-like feel. Two little rusty jingle bells are sewn onto it and it hangs cross body with a suede strap. There are two letters to Santa in the mailbag made from sanded thin basswood. He carries a little olde-gold coloured bottlebrush tree. This Santa stands 7 1/2" tall. He is $280.00.
